This is an independent shared-expense app at split.shloksoni.com. It is not affiliated with Splitwise, Inc.

Information we use

We store the name and email you provide for an account, or the basic profile information Google shares when you choose Google sign-in. We store groups, members, expenses, shares, settlements, and invitations you create. Session cookies keep you signed in. Server and network logs help operate and protect the service.

Temporary accounts

A temporary account expires after 30 days without an expense where that account is the payer or a split participant. Signing in does not reset the inactivity timer. We run daily cleanup to delete expired temporary identities. Groups owned only by that identity are deleted with it. Expense and settlement records in a registered member’s shared group may remain so the group’s balances stay accurate.

Registered accounts

Registered accounts are not subject to the temporary account inactivity expiry. You can remove individual expenses in the app. For account or other data deletion requests, email [email protected].

Services

Supabase provides authentication and database storage. Google handles sign-in when selected. Oracle Cloud hosts the app, and Cloudflare routes and protects traffic to it. We use this information to provide shared-expense features and do not sell it.
