How it works
- Create or join a group. Start a group for housemates, travel, or any shared costs. Add people, then invite them when ready.
- Add an expense. Record what was paid and by whom. Choose an equal split, exact amounts, percentages, or shares. You can record more than one payer.
- Check balances. See each person’s share and who owes whom. Split suggests payments that settle the group’s net balances.
- Record a settlement. When money changes hands, add the payment to keep the group ledger current.
Can I try it without an account?
Yes. Choose a temporary name to start. A temporary account expires after 30 days without involvement in a new or edited expense. You can add a verified email or link Google sign-in to keep the same group history permanently.

Split is free. You can create groups, add expenses, view balances, and record settlements without a paid plan.
